Top 5 Interior Design Styles of 2024

In no particular order, here are some of the top interior design styles we have been seeing this year!

The different style trends are a moving target, and what style you choose for your new home, says a lot about you. It’s a hard choice. Ultimately, find which style feels most like you. Try not to stray too far from it, because then your home may look a little too… “hot mess.”

  1. Mid Century Modern

This design style comes from the mid 20th century based on the idea of simplicity and functionality. The furniture is often earthy tones and geometric shapes. There is often a presence of wood colors and textures. This is a very popular style this year!

2. Eclectic

The eclectic style is a lovely mix of different styles that mesh well together. Different time periods, different materials, different colors and textures all combine in one cohesive, very unique design. This is a fun way to personalize your home!

3. Biophilic

Exactly what it sounds like… bringing nature indoors. This design has a wellness benefit. Not only will plants and natural elements make your place come to life, it will also generate more oxygen and boost your mood!

4. Maximalist

Believe it or not, more people are throwing out the concept of “less is more” and they are adding in bold patterns, fun textures, exciting colors, and combining these in a tasteful way that somehow works! Another style for the artist who wants to express themselves in a dramatic space.

5. Art Deco

More geometric shapes! But, that’s not all. This style represents a time period of luxury from the roaring 20’s. Think Great Gatsby, lavish, sparkly, shiny. Expensive materials, like brass, glass, and gold. Everything is very ornamental and many people are bringing this style back to life.
